A powerful cask strength whisky with an interesting backstory. This dram has been named after John Christie, a police inspector who was famed for his sporting prowess. Back in the 19th century, Christie apprehended an illicit distiller, Tom Delaney, who was operating in Timboon. The distillery states that “like Christie himself, this malt is big and bold.” The whisky itself is matured in small 25-50L casks for concentrated flavour.
