This often overlooked distillery is found lying under the shadow of its namesake mountain, Ben Rinnes, the tallest peak in Speyside. Until 2007, this distillery maintained a complex form of partial triple distillation, which produced a meaty, weighty spirit. This bottling, a 1992 vintage, was aged for 21 years in European oak Sherry casks – perfectly showcasing Benrinnes’s distinctive style of malt whisky.
