Triple distilled in the Lowland manner, Auchentoshan Three Wood has been aged in a combination of Bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. Triple distillation means this whisky enters the barrel at a whopping 82% ABV, before maturation and a little pure Scottish water produces a light-bodied and approachable drop.
