It’s often said that Rome was built on seven hills, and Dufftown was built on seven stills. That number has fallen to six, but Dufftown Distillery, taking its name from “the whisky capital of the world” remains. Traditionally part of the Bell’s blend, Dufftown makes a grassy, fresh style of spirit, perfectly encapsulated by this 17 year old, which has aged in refill American oak Hogsheads casks.
